@theatreofmind invoked her wrath, 🌿🍒 - Absolute!Zee when they're allies
❝ I told you I would not treat you kindly when next you bound us together. Did you think me a liar, sorceress? ❞
The words - the declarations come at a growl from the witch's throat. Lips spiked with something like hunger split menacingly, two onyx waves parting that she might bare her fangs and lord, wolfish and ready to strike, over her aggressor.
A THUMP of flesh meeting marble sang out against the gentle tempo of a burning hearth behind them, accompanied by the faintest jingling of bells directly overhead. The witch had been preoccupied upon entering the room. Though she'd greeted the latest occupant of The Hieron, she'd failed to notice the mistletoe she'd hung o'er the entryway with great care.
Failed to notice it, at least of course, until Zatanna enchanted it to hang just o'er the witch's head at all times and took great care to follow her about.
Now, her honor was called into question. She'd given the sorceress her fair chance. An opportunity to be more than what she was before. Now? Now, the witch would allow her to live with the consequences of her actions.
Four onyx runes marked magical flesh. One directly upon, and around her twisted, inverse verse lips. One on either cheek, with smile-hooked edges gracing the fleeting outskirts of the initial mark. And one, tiny yet potent, in the center of her forehead. A mark o'er her 'third eye', in the hopes that all truths she imbibed in her life would flow through that note first.
❝ May this lesson grant you clarity yet unachieved. ❞
