One of my life goals is to be able to change costume as fast as those cartoon characters do
Theatre is about swallowing everything and doing what you gotta do despite all your bothers
But then you just gotta swallow your pride and move on. Gotta give others a chance at the spotlight and a play cant run on one person. Tho because of this i tend to overcompensate for the fact that im not (a leading role) in the play by bein super extra as a supportin/side character or bein a super strict directer or somethin'
It's really hard giving up the spotlight in theatre. Like ofc yk you cant have EVERY role but the little voice in your head is still like 'why did they portray the character like this? If i was playing them i would...' Like it's a need that always has to be fulfilled like without stage there isnt any life.
