Willam quietly sat on the couch in his living quarters. Lately there had been so manny changes with everyone and everything that it was beginning to overwhelm him. Julius was missing, along with Damnatio, Fuegoleon, Nozel, and Charlotte were currently in the running to become the next Wizard King/Queen. It was a lot in a short amount of time and he was barely keeping it together. He put on a brave face in front of his squad members and lover, but honestly? It was becoming a harder and harder thing to do.
William suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around his shoulder and hug him tightly. He tensed a bit in surprise but once he saw who it was he relaxed a bit. It was his partner. They must’ve just gotten back to the Golden Dawn base.
“ What is this for?” William asked curiously, and his partner just shrugged with a small smile on their face.
“ I dunno, I guess I just felt that you needed a hug today.” They muttered simply as they gave him another gentle squeeze.
William felt his heart skip a beat in his chest before a wave of warmth overcame him. They…just felt that he needed one today? He tried to recall if he had maybe let his true feelings slip at some point but he couldn’t think of anything. The last person who had ever been able to tell when he needed a hug or some words of comfort was his mother. She somehow always knew without him having to say a word, and his partner was no different.
He thought he had been good at hiding it from, but apparently he wasn’t good enough. Suddenly tears welled up in his eyes before falling down his cheeks. He reached a hand up and gently placed it on his partners arm and held it.
“ Huh? Hey William, are you okay? What’s wrong?” His partner asked in concern and William smiled tearfully before shaking his head at them.
“ It’s nothing I’ve just…been overwhelmed by everything lately and…I guess I really needed a hug.” William said as he sniffled a bit and began to wipe his tears away.
They moved away from William, surprising him a bit, before they walked around the couch and sat down next to him. They wrapped their arms around him once again and hugged him tighter then they had just a moment ago. William smiled a bit more before he wrapped his arms around them and rested his forehead on their shoulder.
“ You can talk to me you know? If the weight gets to be too much you can always give some of it to me, I’ll be more than happy to help you carry it.” They said softly as they patted his back.
“ I don’t want to burden you with my troubles…”
“ You’re not a burden William, and you never will be, so please don’t keep it all to yourself. Let me help you.” They urged and William felt that warmth wash over him again, how did he find someone as amazing and kind hearted as them?
So, William began to tell his Partner all his troubles and worries. Many tears were shed, and comforting words were shared, but William was glad he had his partner by his side. Helping him when he needed it, comforting him when he needed it. He was so very lucky to have them in his life, and constantly thanked the universe for allowing him to meet them.

may I request a fanfic where rill accidentally makes his s/O cry by saying something mean to them (he had a bad day and acudentally snapped) and when he realises that he hurt you he starts to cry too?

Rill slowly made his way to his room, today was not a very good day. Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong, and now all he wanted to do was go to his room and paint. Painting was one of his favorite ways to relax, so he silently hoped it would help get him out of his bad mood.
Behind him was his significant other, they had been talking about their day and had been trying to cheer him up. But all they were doing was making him grumpy. He wasn’t usually this sensitive, but today was an exception.
“ Can you just stop talking?!” Rill snapped suddenly as he turned around to face them, he watched them jump back in surprise. “ I get it you had a great day, I’m happy for you! But do you ever think that not everyone wants to hear about it, especially when they’ve had a bad day?!” He snapped again in irritation. He quickly clamped a hand over his mouth and his eyes widened, he hadn’t meant to say it out loud!
He watched as tears welled up in his partner’s eyes and slowly fell down their cheeks, Rill’s heart broke at the sight and he reached a hand out towards them.
“ I was just…trying to help you feel better,” They sniffled as they rubbed their eyes. “ Why do you have to be so mean when I was just trying to help!” They cried before they turned around to walk away.
Rill quickly took a few steps forward and wrapped his arms around your shoulders to give them a back hug. They tried to wiggle out of his grasp but that only made him tighten his grip.
“ I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have snapped at you.” Rill said softly as tears fell from his eyes and landed on their shoulder. “ It’s not your fault I’m having a bad day, but I took my feelings out on you as though it were. I’m sorry.”
His partner sniffled and wiped the tears from their eyes before they turned around in his arms and looked at him.
“ I’m sorry too…I should have taken your feelings into consideration. I knew you were having a bad day and I came across as bragging about my good day.” They said softly but Rill shook his head.
“ You didn’t do anything wrong! You were just trying to help because you know I love hearing about your day. So don’t blame yourself for something I did.” Rill said as he sniffled and wiped the tears from his own eyes.
“ Do…you wanna talk about it?” They asked quietly as they sniffled one last time. “ About your day I mean.” Rill nodded.
“ I do, if you’re okay with hearing about it.” Rill muttered sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head, his partner smiled and nodded firmly.
“ I don’t mind one bit! If listening to you rant about your day helps you in some way then I’m more than happy to do it!” They stated firmly and Rill smiled back at them before the two began to walk back down the hall towards his room.
For the rest of the day the two talked about Rill’s day, and his partner’s, as Rill painted multiple lovely pictures for them to hang in their room and throughout the Aqua Deer Base.
