GTA (acronym of "Good Times Ahead") are a duo of DJ's from Miami consisting of producers Julio Mejia and Matt Toth. In 2011, the duo caught the attention of Diplo, who featured them on his 2012 "Express Yourself". Their debut, self titled "Good Times Ahead" album was released in 2016. GTA's sound embodies house, electro house, trap and hip hop.
Over the past two years, Hotel Garuda has received acclaim from several dance music publications, they have dominated the HypeMachine remix charts and racked up millions of plays on various music platforms. Chris Gavino aka Manila Killa, and Aseem Mangaokar, or Candle Weather, first became friends in middle school in Indonesia. The two went their seperate ways after school but reconnected over their love of music around December 2013.
Hailing from Austin, Texas, neo-psychedelic rockers the Black Angels came together in spring 2004. Originally comprised of Stephanie Bailey (drums), Christian Bland (guitar), Alex Maas (vocals), Jennifer Raines (organ), and Nathan Ryan (bass), the band took their name from a Velvet Underground classic, "The Black Angel's Death Song." Their self-titled debut EP was released in late 2005. 2017 saw the release of Death Song, some of the group's heaviest work.
Jackie Lee is an American country music singer-songwriter. His first interest in music came from singing in his local church. At age six, he caught the attention of producer Carson Chamberlain, who brought young Jackie to a studio to sing on a recording session. Now 25, Jackie is continues to turn heads with his impassioned country vibes. Be on the lookout for his debut album, soon to be released on Broken Bow Records.
Dawn "Djoir" Jordan is multi-talented singer, songwriter and actress hailing from Los Angeles. She has appeared in several TV shows and spent time as a singer and performer in multiple female pop groups before going solo. In 2014, Djoir Jordan received nominations for Pop Single of the Year and Solo Performer of the Year for the 2014 LA Music Awards.
On each release, Jeremy Larson of Violents composes the music, writes the lyrics, plays every instrument. He then partners with a female vocalist to breathe life into the songs. The tone of each project varies with each collaborator, making for a beautifully diverse body of work.
In 2014, The Wind and The Wave, a duo from Austin, TX, released From The Wreckage, arguably one of the best albums of the year. Due to the undeniable chemistry between Dwight Baker and Patty Lynn, The Wind and The Wave soon found themselves with a major-label record deal, U.S. headlining tours, millions of plays on Spotify and Apple Music, and songs appearing on shows like Grey's Anatomy. In 2016 the duo released their second studio album, Happiness Is Not a Place, a rawer and rougher body of work, but equally as impressive as From The Wreckage.
