        Ace's eyes widened at the sight of a dog, something in her chest felt tight as she slowly knelt down a few feet from the canine. She had never--Cadmus had never let her near animals besides lab rats, seeing one in person was almost overwhelming. Almost reverently the little girl held out a cautious hand towards the animal, unsure of exactly what how she was supposed to act and more importantly how they would react to something like her.

        "May...May I touch you?"
