Jason watched with admiration as he watched each goon drop like a pile of bricks as Thomas assailed them. It was like watching poetry in motion… he’d say a mirror but. he know there would be far more dislocated joints if it were him at his age.

“Yeah. It was pretty good.” Jay replied nonchalantly, quickly covering up his pride as not to distract him. “Clearly there was no need for me to be here.” He said, smiling down at him as he started walking towards him. “Though, we really got to get you fitted with some grenades… I’m sure Dick won’t mind…”

He turned away, pulling out a communicator and smiling as he patched himself through the commissioner. “Hey Babs… yeah. Yeah me and the little’n have a whole bunch of guys who’d just love to see the inside of your cells. Sending you the address now.” He muttered, putting his hand on his hip as he listened to her reply. “Well. Gotta go. Stay safe.”

“Told ya I could handle it myself.” Thomas shrugged and then grinned even if Jason wouldn’t be able to see it. “But I do appreciate the help anyways. Two is better than one I guess.”

He cocked his head to the side slightly. “Grenades? Hm... yeah gotta ask Pop first.” He then looked away when Jason contacted Babs. He looked down at the array of bodies lying around him and gently nudged a few with his now normal pole.

He only glanced up when Jason was done. “Guess I should go tie up these guys now.” He sighed and quickly put away his weapon before pulling out zip-ties. He crouched down and began tying up the unconscious men.
