I did that! I cared and continue to care for my own body and my own soul enough to ensure hers. My son makes me feel beautiful because intertwined with his sense of independence and individuality that I encourage, I see myself in his actions and I hear my words from his mouth - I know that I am positively contributing to this world and our future. My hair makes me feel beautiful because it's bright and energetic! My tattoos make me feel beautiful because they are my story, my trials and tribulations, my wins and successes on display! Music makes me feel beautiful because it touches dark corners of my soul I can't see any other way. My husband makes me feel beautiful because he is my other half, my found puzzle piece, my partner in crime - he pushes me to be me at my fullest potential, take risks and not apologize for who I am.
