After a fantastic premiere in Los Angeles, 'The Big Swim' is premiering in Cozumel tonight at Wet Wendy's. Filmed mostly in Cozumel, with Guy Chaumette as DOP for the underwater scenes, the film is about facing your fears of dying to live your life to the fullest. The team have swum 273.195km in Weeks 11 and 12. On the map it means we've just left the Caledonian Canal at Inverness and are now into the North Sea.

Heading into the last week that means we've swum a total of 1341.2km and only have 194.8km left to go.

I say 'only' but that is quite a steep target for just one week. However, we're still hoping to reach our total distance (and arrive at John O'Groats!) by the end of Sunday 7th July. We're having a swimming marathon relay to put us over the finish line on Saturday 6th July between 10am and 2pm.

Weeks 9 and 10 saw the team swim a total of 235.1km. The pace has been slowing a little but is definitely picking up again for Week 11, update on that to follow soon as we're nearing the end of the challenge.

The total distance swum after Week 10 is 1068km, putting us level with Glasgow along the west coast of Scotland. It means there's a hefty 468km left to swim in three weeks, not impossible but certainly a challenge.
