When she finished thier meal, she turned and put her hand in his foot, “hey, it’s ready” she said handing him his bowl of food.

She then sat beside him and ate. She glanced up at the stars as she ate. “ I love this, it’s always my favorite part of a mission, the time when we rest and eat, looking up at the sky full of stars, of course now I get to do it with just you, and this isn’t a mission” She told him happily, her eyes shined, her cheeks had a glow to them. She had not been this happy In so long, if ever.

Being with the man she loved more than life itself was heaven to her.

She was happy to cook for him too. She couldn’t imagine a threat out there big enough to take Sasuke down, especially them together.

She was so wrong though. There was a threat, a big one, more so than Kaguya had been. The threat sat patiently waiting for the world to discover it.

“Thanks,” Sasuke said gratefully for the meal. For someone usually on his own, it was nice to have someone take care of him, and have some company while he looked at the stars, it was nice to share it with someone.

“Yeah, it’s given me a new appreciation of certain things, because you are here, Sakura,” he admitted as he rested against her, spending a lovely night together before they resumed their mission in the morning.

“We’re going back to battlefield of the last war. We might have sealed the main threat, so I want to make sure there is nothing lingering left,” Sasuke explained as they walked towards the battlefield together. He still felt partially at fault for how the war started, even though he was being used as a pawn, he was pardoned from imprisonment for a reason.

After a few steps into the barren terrain, corpses started emerging from the ground like zombies, missing body parts being replaced by white Zetsu parts. Before he knew it, they were surrounded, so Sasuke e drew his katana as his back bumped gently against Sakura’s.

“Be careful, I am sensing chakra from the ground as well,” he warned her as he activated his Sharingan, ready for battle.

If one were to ask, he didn’t quite know. It had been the moments after his final gambit, when Kaguya had been sealed and Madara’s body left behind. Separated to be sealed on the moon while he watched, numbly, until a rush of blackness and a terrific searing stemming from the Kama on his brow, the black rhombus feeling like it would burn its way through to his skull. Then, the darkness cleared and it dawned on him that another passenger from another time and place had joined him, but he couldn’t say from where. A different nexus, of that he was certain, but he’d exhausted too much chakra from the Kama Rift to say. 

Craning his head on tendons that burned like cauterizing wires, with a wince he faced the kunoichi; similar, but still wholly different. Even her outfit wasn’t the same.

“You, slug brat...” he addressed weakly, too parched to speak any further.

so long it has been since the two of them were given the mere chance to share a moment of pure intimacy— without exterior disturbance or nuisance.  notwithstanding the blatant fact that the kunoichi ne'er frankly appreciated the uchiha's proximity to being with, for the integrity of her attention was only directed towards their fellow comrade ( menma ). && yet, it hadn't dishearten nor discouraged sasuke from attempting to reach a distinct attachment with the female.

betwixt parted tiers, a trail of laughter — masculine && sweet as golden honey — reverberated within the air whilst a smile took place along his countenance. naught but an enchanting aura emitting from him as a hint of amusement seeped within the tonality of his chords.

Ever since college started and Rin moved in with her boyfriend, the occasions of her and Obito seeing each others have been rare. Frustatingly rare... And Obito never fails to voice his opinion about the situation when they meet, to the risk of degrading their friendship. He just... He hates her boyfriend, Obito hates his guts so much, he's no treating his best friend like he should. In his opinion... Rin doesn't seem to see it.

There's a baseball game tonight and Obito will finally be able to see her with her boyfriend gone to see the match with his equally idiot friends. He brings two joints, mostly for himself, and a small bottle of rum. He grabs his phone and texts her 'I'm leaving so I'll be there in 15 min'.

He says goodbye to his grand-mother and leaves his house for the streets. It rained today, everything is damp, there are worms on the sidewalk. At least this is entertaining.

Visiting the Hidden Rain [JiraTsu] @theblacknpinkforce​

“Looks like Kakashi is settling in well as Hokage, Naruto is well on his way to becoming the next one after him. He has grown so strong that he’s teaching me about Sage Mode haha!” Jiraiya commented with a laugh, having a drink with Tsunade again as they caught up. Peace had returned thanks to all their efforts, and the village was going back to normal as it should, the Toad Hermit was reassured the next generation can keep it safe now.

“I believe it is time for me to go on another journey, maybe write my next book, do you want to come with me this time, Tsunade?” Jiraiya asked the former Hokage, as she was officially retired now. She was free to travel like he was, Jiraiya also wanted to take the chance to visit Nagato and Konan in the Hidden Rain Village. Even with them winning the last war, there was a lot of clean up to do, to ensure that history did not repeat itself again.

When he’d found Konan injured, he wasted absolutely no time in rushing her back to the tower and working at giving her the best care he possibly could. Nothing was fatal, thankfully, as much as he wanted to find who could have possibly hurt Konan. And what he would do if he found them... it’d be very civil. But then again that would depend on what she told him when she woke, of course. 

He stood on the other side of the room, letting out a quiet sigh as he stared across at the sleeping figure laying in the bed against the wall. His eyes still holding subtle worry despite knowing she would live... He didn’t want to see her suffer, and there was only so much he could for her. He could only hope the pain would be minor... She’s all he has, Yahiko is gone... and... and he was never going to let her fall to the same cruel fate. It’d been so recent... he couldn’t get it off his mind, and sometimes it was hard not to fall back into the same despair he felt that day. It’s no wonder he couldn’t stand the sight before him... 

But the moment he saw her shift and open her eyes, he was right at her side almost immediately. As calm as his face may have appeared, the fact she woke at all filled him with a sense of relief and the desire to know what happened only grew within him. But he couldn’t rush it, he had to make sure was feeling well enough.

“Konan, you’re awake. How are you feeling?”

It was late evening as Itachi stood at the kitchen sink with a plate in his hand and a washcloth in the other, the Uchiha had just began washing his supper dishes, as he did the dishes in silence his ears suddenly picked up on a slight knock coming from the front door, slowly he placed the dishcloth on the counter while the plate was lightly dropped back in the sink, while on his way to answer the door, he picked up a dry towel to dry  his hands off before reaching the door, once at the front door, the Uchiha unlocked it and slowly slid it opened to see Sakura and his baby niece in her arms. As he was about to say good evening to his sister-in-law he noticed that she looked distressed about something and moved aside so she could come in before asking if everything was alright. "Sakura...is everything alright?" Itachi asked with concern becoming visible on his face, as well in his voice.
