I did a post on the index card plotting methods. Here's a link in case you missed it. mythcreants(.)com/blog/three-excuses-to-use-office-supplies/
Thank you so much! I will definitely be employing this.

What do people have against people who can't eat wheat? It makes me sick, incapacitated of enjoying my and gives me terrible gas.
I don’t know if you meant for me to reply to this personally, as you replied to the post instead of reblogging it, but personally I have nothing against gluten-free food. My sister has severe health issues that mean she needs to have a very restricted diet and she finds gluten-free foods to be better for her digestive system and so I tend to save her recipes that I find that look appetizing because where she lives it’s a pain in the butt to get a lot of good pre-packaged or frozen stuff and easier to just make it herself (it’s what she gets for living on a mountain). That was the one part of the post I wasn’t in total agreement with (the vegan part I might have agreed with a tad more, as I have met some very agressive vegans who have turned me off to the movement). The rest of it, however, I did agree with and that was why I reblogged that post.

Ok I got curious and did a little reading on the temperature options. the burn temperature for hair is 451, not 351. However when you’re styling at home or working with fine strands you’re recommended to stay at about 350. So you’ll need to do a little research to find out what is best. But if your flat iron only has one temperature setting you should probably get a different one because your hair might need different things at different times.
Bless you and your house! May you have fabulous hair days for the rest of your life! lol

Your stylist was full of crap, so many deceptive people out here lying to folks about their hair. I straighten my hair from time to time with heat. I don't worry about getting my hair completely flat, so I get that really full sort of old school look which is fine by me. I read up on healthy straightening techniques and review them everytime I straighten no matter how many times I've read them in the past. General rule of thumb. Hair burns at 351 degress, so does paper t
So basically what you’re saying is, I have to ditch my Chi straightener - which probably hits 370 degrees or higher... *deep sigh*

How did your hair get heat damaged?
I hadn’t relaxed my hair in years but then I discovered Keratin treatments and thought they were better for me. So I got like 2 or 3 done a year (soooo not even necessary) and between my stylist at the time - who told me the more heat and the more often I flat ironed my hair the better - and myself going to town on my hair, it was fried!
I’ve spent the last year and a half getting back to my literal roots. 3 BC’s, tons of moisture and a continuous learning process later and I’ve got my curls back. But I still miss it straight every once in a while.
