🧠 Well, at least it's not Raphael, who would likely punch him first before asking any questions. But that thought only offers Krang so much comfort. Whether Donatello is the more fortunate encounter or not has yet to be seen. "Do you see your half-witted counterpart anywhere around 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖?" He retorts a little snappily as to whether there's another multiverse problem, while completely dismissing the other question. There is a verse-overlapping problem of sorts, but not the devastating kind Donatello might have in mind right now. Much more it is a personal problem Krang is dealing with right now.

"Just tell me, are you meddlesome reptiles involved with a man named Bishop in this reality, 𝕥𝕠𝕠?"

it was a process.

finding Donnie in the ruins of their old lair was a surprise, one he never thought he'd live to see. he felt some guilt over snapping at him, its not like this Don was the one that left, and taking out his years of frustration on him wasn't fair. a lot in this life was unfair but Donnie didn't have anything to do with that. Not this Don, anyways.

Mike figured he'd find a quiet moment to apologize, probably when Leo and Raph where busy with something else and weren't around. the moment presented itself while Donnie worked on the Karai Legionnaire Stockman had been retrofitting. Mike walked over, brows set into a slight frown as he struggled to find the words,

" Donnie... You got a minute? "

Mike's eyes meet Don's, but they don't linger, instead going to look at the desolation and ruin all around them. truly, he'd mean that Donnie shouldn't be here, but in his own time and with the siblings that still liked each other. not with whatever broken pieces that were left here, in this dystopian hellscape Mike himself called home.

but he didn't push, instead just giving the other a nod as he rested his hand on his hip, " I don't know what you expected, Don. " he says, looking over at the smog filled sky, dark buildings branded with the foot insignia, or the many screens showing the Shredder's gruesome mug, " There's not much to see. "

there's a long pause before he speaks again, this time softer, " .... we should go soon, before we're spotted. "

Was this what death felt like?

Leonardo felt like he was floating endlessly, in a state of suspension. The sensation wrapped around him was strange. Like he was falling through water, but without the drowning sensation.

It wasn't warm or cold, it was... temperate, he guessed. Could he still think when he was dead? Or was he in Limbo? Maybe it was a weird purgatory place.

He just.. was.

Until it felt warm, and he suddenly lurched backward. His eyes snapped opened, a portal of swirling bright orange, so much like his little brother's opened up, swallowing him up. It felt like sunshine, a warm hug wrapping around him.

And he was falling, colors swirling around him in a mix of purple, red, orange, teal, and blue. There was hints of white as well, something familiar about each colors.

He felt like he was falling for a long time, when really, it was only a few seconds. He reached the end of the portal, as it opened up at his destination, sending him slamming into the hard concrete floor, a cry of pain escaping him, as he landed face first.

He remained there, laying on his plastron, the orange portal shimmering, before it dispersed in a rain of color confetti, slowly dissipating as they fell.

Leonardo would just lay here for a bit, concussed, and slipping in and out of consciousness.

"Donatello." Quarry perked up and smiled upon noticing the other. This was the purple mask he knew well. The blue mutant was definitely happy to see his friend again.

"How are you my friend?" he asked with a small smile approaching the other.
