🧠 When there's one thing that easily entertains Krang, then it is people following his silly demands. He acts as if he'd have to think about the request, even though he has made up his mind already. Helping someone and letting them know later that they owe him a favor? Yes, it doesn't hurt to have more than one screw in one's toolbox.

"Alright, alright. I shall help YOU." Krang huffs in (acted) exasperation.

"What is it again that you need my help for?"

@onboardsaltedcaramel One might expect brain shaped cookies for the brain creature that was Krang, but Emil opted for the 'brain food' instead with a jar full of candy shaped cookies.

[🧠] Is it a bribe? A peace-offering of sorts? Krang eyes the colorful cookies with suspicion before he has his mandroid fishing one out from the jar. He turns it around for closer inspection before ultimately biting about half of it off like some uncanney-valley piranha.

"Hmm, those taste better than the sugar-soaked pastries Saki would bring me sometimes after he screwed UP." He has the mandroid feed him the rest of the cookie, and while he munches it gleefully, the huge android grabs the whole jar.

"Now, what is the occasion for this offering, I wonder?"

🧠 "The overarching narrative..." For a moment, it seems like Krang wants to say more, but decides to focus on the movie, to see where that 'overarching narrative' goes.

It would soon appear that neighbor harbored an insufferable amount of sentimentality towards those poisoned petunias. So the intend truly was to cause more suffering, at least if you were to ask Krang.

"Humans truly are dimwitted creatures to let something so inconsequential hurt their feeble feelings!" (Yes, the irony of that string of outspoken thoughts is, of course, completely lost on him). "It is of no surprise to me that in certain alternate universes, humans are completely erased from existence. I mean, it's still shockingly few. For all their faults, humans are quite persistent and STUBBORN."

Krang reaches for the limonade and takes quite a slurp. Talking makes him thirsty, especially talking in human-words.

"However— I have to say, I liked Catherine's way of thinking. If it wasn't for James, she would have won that ridiculous contest."

Krang could get a more up-to-date, advanced Technodrome if he really wanted, but he sticks with his old one. Because when he was dumped to Earth in its late 80s, he was left with nothing but that old, derelict Technodrome. And since he was stuck in the 80s and 90s for a while, he had to work with what he could get his tentacles on.

In that time, he has grown attached to what is his, and refuses since to give up his property. At the end of the day, you can chalk it down to obstinacy, or human sentiments having rubbed off on him.

Earth has made rapid developments in the last years and Krang has been able to update some things within the Technodrome, like adding modified touch-screens or stronger processors for his computers. So while being mostly an outdated trash-heap on the outside, there are masterfully advanced devices within it. He also keeps the factories updated to build more efficient Foot-Soldiers and other robots.

If he wasn't so attached to his old Technodrome though? Krang would be able to do even more terrific things if he had a fully armed, up-to-date Technodrome out of Kraang Prime's days.

Have a lizanon: Krang, do you have any human word you particularly like? Maybe one you find easier to pronounce, or one which meaning you like? @onboardsaltedcaramel

For both, the meaning and the pronunciation, fools is his favorite word. Or more specifically, his favorite insult.

🧠 Pistachio. Krang likes that mildly sweet, earthy taste. He also likes Spaghetti Ice, but after the mutant duo made fun of him over that, he is more conscious about it and devours Spaghetti Ice only in private since.

🧠 "I'm traversing the multiverse so often, I can't remember why I would have arguments with any of those uneducated numbskulls. Not that I would care. NOW, if you don't want to make yourself useful, then make yourself scarce unless you want me to upgrade my Technodrome's shields with YOU in front of it!"

About Socialising

Socialising is tiring to Krang. Talking like a human is the most exhausting aspect to him about it, because he has to focus on forming proper sentences and pronouncing the words correctly. That is why more inhuman noises sneak in between his sentences and the tone in his voice shifts more when he’s emotionally upset or tired.

As far as the coping goes, he’s someone to just excuse himself when he’s in need of privacy. He has no qualms in abruptly ending a call when the other attempts to tell him something he doesn’t want to hear or just talking like a human starts to annoy him. 

Work on the other hand is something he enjoys, as long as it consists of inventing, engineering and fixing. It is therapeutic to him, rather than exhausting.
