Run For My Life is better because things went wrong: on the morning of the session, I had bad lyrics written, which I didn't even have memorized yet, and a musician was late. These two problems prompted a beautiful solution: multi-tracking instead of recording 100% live. We still recorded the band live, but multi-tracking allowed me to come back later to (1) record the typewriter, and (2) record the lyrics after improving them.
