@thebrokenmarionette wants a photo ☀
As much as he hated taking even more time away from the RFA he knew that he needed this. A little vacation to another country was the perfect place to take more photographs for his gallery and to sell as prints for those who may want them. Not to mention for all he knew this could be one of the last times that he could take such an adventure with his diminishing eyesight making him that much more eager to take a little trip.
Stepping up to a small bridge that overlooked a creek, he lifted the camera up before pulling his sunglass down his nose a bit to squint at the monitor. Just as expected the image to him was blurry but he continued on with taking a few more photos despite this obstacle. After a few minutes of changing the lighting on his camera as he pressed the familiar buttons and even the angle as he took to getting closer to the small stream of water the strain finally started to get to his eyes. Taking a seat in the grass, he laid back while resting the camera against his chest.
Hearing footsteps moments later as he relaxed he glanced over towards the sound to see movement not to far away and without thinking he glanced back up towards the sky only to start speaking as a gentle smile formed across his features. “It’s a beautiful day out, isn’t it? I’ve never been here before so I guess that makes it a little more special.”
@thebrokenmarionette ♥d the starter call and-- ok i ran out of jokes so here’s urs
“To be honest, completely and probably suidiceally-honest, I find no reason not to aim this one arrow right to your left eye”, she mumbled, barely standing on her feet, “I neither need nor want your help, your company, your stories about loved ones trying to make you their afternoon snack-- The thing is... It’s been one day, ten hours and... seven minutes since I ate or had any water, so I am in no shape for this conversation”
Or for keeping the string of her bow tense, but she kept that information to herself.
“So here’s what’s going to happen- You leave me now, to my misery; or you stay and the misery becomes double because I had to kill you”

Rough hands pulled at the needle, tightening up the stitch he just pushed through delicate skin. Gaze focused, he did not realize he was being as gentle as he had originally intended to be. Their run had caused them to run straight into a pile of rubble, having no choice but to climb over it or be trapped between the debris or the undead. Feet slipping, balance being lost, it of course ended in an injury. One that would luckily, with the proper treatment – as best as the apocalypse offered; would soon heal. Perhaps with a rather nasty scar, but she got away with her life.
With a snip, he was done.
Disinfecting it one last time, he dabbed the alcohol soaked cloth around the wound before placing the patch, wrapping it in gauze to keep everything in place.
He almost asked how it was feeling, which would have been a rather absurd question to ask. There were only so many ways a gash with sloppy stitches could feel, and no description word would be of any good.
He had shot her a brief look as he put everything away, knowing they couldn’t lose these items. If they did, he knew it wouldn’t be long before an infection could enter her system, and finding something to help her might just take too long. Zipping up the bag, the male strapped it over his shoulders, straightening himself out to somewhat stretch, feeling the tension deeply engraved in his muscles.
“We can probably find something for you to lean against, help you walk. We should probably hit a pharmacy, see if by any chance it hasn’t been completely wiped clean.”

little balls of energy whiz through the playground. they’re giggling so far, which is always a good sign. no injuries, no crying, no arguments. just a long stagnation in childhood bliss this recess. “ what book should we read for them since it’s friday ? “

Late. Streams of guiding light trailed onward down the black highway, its final destination the arrival center where he’d been expected...some TCs ago. But he’d met these USERS before- on several occasions, in fact, and had little motivation to humor their presence other than for his own personal gain. The primary objective of course, was not to be found invalid, worthless.
Within the nearing distance, he spotted the objective; just the one of them, it appeared. The throttle was twisted, clutch ignited to rev the lightcycle’s electric engine into a sound of alarm, announcing his presence, no matter his tardiness. The orange glare of the vehicle bound around one curve of the road and then the next, its rider making obvious haste even as he neared the Center. It wasn’t until he was within dangerous proximity that the brakes were triggered. The lightcycle made a full circle while its stiffened tires scraped the fractal floors surrounding the User, and then halted at last in front of her.
In segments, the rider’s spine guard peeled backward so that he could sit up in the seat of the bi-wheeled machine, and turn his shining, black masked face toward her.
“You’re early.”

“Now, what is a pretty girl like you doing roaming around these parts alone?” Negan asked, a smirk playing on his lips. “This is one of the most walker ridden parts of the forest.” That was a lie, and if the girl was smart she would see right through it, but Negan was hoping that she wasn’t.

He wasn't exactly made for quiet places. The young man had to move too much - fidget with quills or bounce his knee as he read. Though, he tried - he really did - because deep down he wanted to do well. To prove himself worthy in any capacity, and not just in the shadow of his brother. While they were twins, Connor was always somehow more of an undeniable force than Murphy. Hell, he wasn't even certain why they'd even been placed in the same house - only that he had wished so hard when the hat had been placed on his head four years ago, that he wanted to be with his brother. It had wavered for a full few minutes between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor for him. Maybe it was Murphy's wish. Maybe it was the anger that always seemed to be just under the collar of the young man. Maybe it was a fluke. Who really knew?
It was in the library that he found himself - knee bouncing under the table as a stack of books were in front of him. Fingers of his free tapped on the table top in time as he turned the pages with the other. The only problem was - he wasn't studying. No, this was research of a different kind -- and he was determined to play the perfect prank on his brother. Especially after his orange juice had oh so innocently blown up in his face this morning.
