If it's in your budget, the tour does a lottery that I think is $25 and I've had really good luck getting tickets with that.
I never realized that touring groups did lottery! I’ll have to keep that in mind next time they come around wherever I am. Or maybe I’ll be able to afford regular ticket by then, lol.

I don't know, I really liked the book, but once I saw the show I liked it more. I think the book does a good job of making Elphaba not a villain, and I loved her, but I think the show gets more in her head. They're both amazing to be clear!
That’s cool to hear! I’m so thirsty for anything with the show. It came to my area last year and I looked at tickets but the cheapest were more than I could do. I keep hoping someone might do it locally even if it’s not professional grade b/c I just want to see the show so badly.

The show is really different from the book. I actually think the show does a better job of humanizing Elphaba, and they made it into a family musical.
I would think they would have to make it a little more PG! (I don’t know why I feel so scandalized, I’ve read smuttier fanfics).
That’s interesting about humanizing Elphaba. I have nothing to compare it to but I felt so far the book has done a pretty good job of it. Maybe it’s just me. I wanted to give her a big hug when she was a baby and everyone was like “EW THIS DEMON CHILD”. I find her kind of endearing. But I’m not finished so who knows where it goes from here.

Completely ridiculous. I wonder how long after Glee it'll take for most of them to lose interest so that they can go about their lives (and be supportive friends).
Soon, I hope. *sigh* and CrissColfer as a thing is actually something I’d be totally into/found cute at one point. I just wish people didn’t take it so far. Like, if you’re still into rpf that’s cool, I’m not shaming it. Just, like, don’t act like all of it’s real and 100% legit because unless you are intimately connected, you have no idea.
I may need to do some selective unfollowing. I think I stuck it out because of fic but I just can’t deal with that stuff anymore.

Though I wonder how this relates to his parents? Like his mom (on some level that would make sense to a young child) was weak. She loved him and she died. I feel like Burt is the only exception, but even he was pushed away until Kurt’s sophomore year.

Agree 100%. Especially since there was also the cut line where Kurt talked to Rachel about how he pushes people away.

You can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time. And there is such anger from some parties because Glee isn't managing to do that somehow. I'd like to enjoy this for what is and overall it's really good.
Exactly. I mean, I could have done with only one Sue centric episode/less Sue involvement in the klaine reunion because I find Sue-centric episodes to be a bit grating/I don't want the reunion to be coerced. But I get how it works to maybe accelerate things which from a logistical standpoint we need.
This kind of reaction isn't anything new from fandom. I'm just glad that I've been able to mostly surround myself with people who understand they won't get everything they want but still can enjoy the show. Maybe I'll have to start blacklisting/unfollowing people because negativity for the sake of negativity is just something I don't have time or energy for.
