Super soft, milky and creamy. It tastes like heaven! I'm not sure with the price coz' this one was free but I'm sure it's less than Php. 50. You can visit them at #maginhawa #maginhawastreet beside #theburgerproject . They also offer the best #churros in town! Let me know if you like it 😉.
Devouring this huge #VeggieBurger here at #TheBurgerProject #MaginhawaStreet 🍔
Sa sobrang kabusugan to the point na nakakasuka na, well that was worth it! I give #TheBurgerProject a 4/5 🌟 #instaba #thursdate #MaginhawaAdventures (at The Burger Project, Maginhawa Street)
SOMEWHERE: The Burger Project #MaginhawaFoodTrip
Address: #122 Maginhawa Street, Teacher’s Village, Quezon City
Directions:
Route # 1
From Pasig City, ride a jeep bound for the MRT Shaw station. Alight the jeep at the train station.
After purchasing your ticket, ride the MRT jeep that is north bound.
Alight at the MRT Quezon Ave Station. Some of you may know this as the Centris Station.
Go down the stairs and you will find a jeepney terminal. Board the jeepney bound for UP Diliman.
Alight the jeepney once you reach PhilCoa. Don’t forget to pay the Php 10.00 fare.
In PhilCoa, you will see a Ministop Convenience Store. Near that area, you’ll find red-colored tricycles.
It is best to know the name of the restaurant so that the tricycle driver can directly take you there. In our case, the driver charged us Php 20.00 (that’s Php 10.00 each for the two of us) from PhilCoa to the Burger Project.
Route # 2
Ride the LRT 2 Santolan Station.
Alight at the LRT 2 Cubao Station.
Walk towards the MRT Araneta-Cubao Station. You may pass through the Gateway mall if it’s already opened.
Board the train that is north bound. Alight at the MRT Quezon Ave station.
Follow instructions 3-7 of Route 1.
The concept in The Burger Project is to create your own burger. Customers can choose the type of meat, bun, toppings, and sauces from their menu. They also have pre-made burger combinations in case you don’t want to go through the whole process. The good thing about this concept is that customers are able to choose what they want to include in their burger. Don’t want onions? Then don’t include onions! (Attention: Picky Eaters!). Upon entering the establishment, customers will be offered clipboards with a form that contains their list of ingredients. From that form, customers can now design their own burgers!
Food
Burger
Given that The Burger Project is the name of the restaurant, flavorful and tasty burgers are musts! After filling out their checklist, this was what I came up with:
Angus Beef Patty – Php 130.00
Sesame Seed Bun – free
Gruyere Cheese – Php 40.00
Caramelized Onion – Php 25.00
Tomatoes & Lettuce - free
Special Burger Sauce – Php 20.00
I was not disappointed with their burger. At first, I was afraid that my burger would not taste good because I wasn’t sure of the combination but it turned out well. Generally, the taste was appetizing. The flavors were just right and everything just really came together. Some burgers tend to be too salty but theirs had the right amount of saltiness. The patty was also very juicy. As to the size, it was MASSIVE. I had to cut it into four quarters so that I could eat it properly. Despite the massive size, I did not felt any sign of umay. As a matter of fact, I was able to finish my burger. For that size and taste, I can say that I got the value of my money.
Fries
My friend and I shared the Truffle Fries (Php 175.00 or Php 87.50 for each of us). I was glad that we didn’t order two because one order of fries is probably good for two to three persons. Unlike the French Fries that we usually eat in fast food restaurants, the cut of their fries is very thick. The order also came with its own dip, which from what I tasted, contained chopped truffles, truffle oil (hence the name of the fries), cheese, and mayonnaise. The dip was superb! It was so good that even though I felt full already, I just had to keep eating the fries with the dip. I just couldn’t resist not too take another bite.
Buffalo Wings
My best friend Belle ordered and paid for the Buffalo Wings (Php 150.00) for the two of us. In case you don’t know, Buffalo Wings are just chicken wings! The wings were deep-fried until they were golden brown. Just imagine the color of Jollibee’s Chickenjoy. In BRGR’s version, the wings were not covered with any sauce, unlike in most restaurants. Instead they served it with two dips – hot sauce and bleu cheese dip. My favorite one was the bleu cheese dip because it really complemented the salty flavor of the wings and its not something that I normally taste everyday.
Place
I love the place! I think that it caters well to students. The atmosphere is really casual and not too extravagant so it’s a perfect barkada hang-out spot. No need for fancy table manners! Ditch the knife and fork and eat that burger with your hands!
Here’s a photo of the exterior of The Burger Project. The place is quite small so chairs and tables can also be found outside.

Verdict
I would definitely go back to The Burger Project. I’d love to try other burger combinations. I can say that I got my money’s worth because for just under Php 500.00, I already felt full and I also had a memorable dining experience. It was a SATISFYING foodie experience!
