I personally love the name "Merry" for Merlin / harry but idk if it'd catch on
Hah, yeah, I actually like it too, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to tag. (Maybe there are a lot of other things tagged "merry" already?)
Hi, I'm Erick and I'm auditioning for the part of Jazor, I'll be singing St. James Infirmary
Ahhhhh good choice there, too.Yess.We’ll give that a shout too!
ok the ones with the top five most interesting stories then :P
21. Have you ever been to the hospital?
I have been to hospitals on three continents! North America (Canada and the States, though if I ever go to Mexico, I could get the trifecta), Europe (Iceland and Italy), and Asia (China) With any luck, I'll get to cross Africa, South America, and Australia off my list of continents with hospitals that I've yet to visit at some point!
29. Have you ever been skinny dipping?
Yes! In high school, Shaun, Rob, and I hopped the fence of someone's house, skinny-dipped in their pool, and took off like madmen - naked, soaking wet madmen - when they came outside to see what the commotion was.
39. Do you have any scars?
My hands are covered in tiny scars and burn-marks, and I've got a fair few on my scalp, I'd imagine, but I have a single great, huge bastard on my belly from where I got my appendix taken out. The bastard burst inside of me and the doctors had to shove a length of tube in me to drain it for three weeks. They figured I should have died from sepsis at least three times, and yet.
47. What is your most expensive piece of clothing?
That would be the ancient, weathered, and battered leather jacket I am constantly wearing. I got that sucker in 2000, and it cost me $600 back then. Since I got it, I have been saved from two stabbings, a half-dozen bludgeonings, and at least two incidents of hypothermia because of it. I would say it's been a solid investment.
53. Favorite foreign food?
Let me tell you a thing or two about baozi, my friend. When I was doing my training in Yangshuo, we found a little baozi-shop about two blocks from Rancho Relaxo (which is what we called the company hotel) that was run by a wizened old woman and her daughter. Neither of them spoke a lick of English, and we barely spoke any Mandarin (and I still barely speak any) but we managed to slog our way through ordering food. Now, she made her baozi by hand, and let me tell you, they were the most magnificent tasting things I have ever had. (For those of you wondering what the hell baozi are, they're steamed dumplings, usually filled with roasted pork.) The dough was light and still had a good bit of chew, the pork was sweet and savoury at the same time and the sauce penetrated the dough just enough to make the whole thing taste like a vaguely sweet cloud of deliciousness surrounding chewy bits of pork.
God damn it, Erick, I want baozi now, you bastard.
thecallightman replied to your post:the ones you wanted to do that made you reblog it....
OH NO YOU JUST HAD TO SAY ABRUZZI DIDN’T YOU I AM GOING TO HAVE TO TELL YOU SUCH A TALE
Tale me a tell, you bastard!
the ones you wanted to do that made you reblog it. The ones that have interesting stories attached, and the feel-good ones :33
Hah! I didn't have any that really jumped out at me, I just reblog these because I a) get bored and figure what the hell, and b) like to figure out new and exciting ways to give huge numbers of questions to people who reblog them from me! :P
All of my stories are interesting, what are you talking about? I could be here all day.
I guess 97 is the only really 'feel-good' one on there? So here you go:
97. Were your ancestors royalty?
On my dad's side, we're something like 93rd in line for the Stewart succession.
On my mom's side, we're descended from deposed Abruzzi nobility who fled to Calabria in the 14th century.
So, technically, yes, but then again if you look hard enough, most people are in some way, shape, or form.
thecallightman replied to your post:Ert þú að fokking með mér, Walking Dead?...
completely off topic, but i think i know what that Icelandic says!
Next to 'helvítis fokking fokk,' it's my most frequently used phrase at work!
