💡Sunday Spotlight: Author Dawn Wright💡 . Welcome to a special mid-week edition of SS! Today, we are featuring Miss Dawn AKA @dawnwright_author 💖 . In 2012, Dawn Wright closed the second book of a buzzing trilogy while lamenting over the fact that Carrie Bradshaw and the gang of Sex and the City were never coming back as a series. She wondered how could that once-in-a-lifetime magic be gone? Better yet, could there be someone to hand off the torch to who could make it happen in a fresh way? . Thus, The Capital Trilogy was born. . Not only was Dawn determined to contribute to the romance genre with a focus on friendship among four women versus the typical male-female angle, but she also wanted it to include something Sex and the City did not: diversity. Given the fact that Dawn Wright is from the DC area, it felt more than right to realign the perception of the nation’s capital from powerful, political men in suits to everyday women in the nation’s capital. From there, she was able to launch her trilogy spinoff: Stroked Eagle. . Capital Encounters will always be the baby that landed her signings into Barnes & Noble bookstores. 😉 . When she is not writing, she’s spending time with her boo and family 💖 Follow Dawn and get the skinny on all her new writing endeavours 😉 . #diversity #diversityinbooks #thecapitoltrilogy #sexandthecity #RFLF #romancecommunity #amreadingromance #romanceauthors #romanceauthorsofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B22rCSLABor/?igshid=19a0tfds5jv3b
