I hope this didn't scare you!! It varies with everyone of course, but this is what happened to me -- my doctor gave me two months' worth of samples of one kind of BC and then when it was time for me to get an actual prescription for it, I was given a different kind. So! If you get samples of one kind and you like them maybe ask to stay on that kind if you can. And there are always other birth control options. It'll take time for your body to get used to it, too. Keep that in mind. I was on the sucky BC from November until this past month and my doctor said that amount of time was a pretty good trial run to confirm that it wasn't just a few randomly weird things.
