An illuminating lamp, an iridescent glow
So breathtaking is the light of his faultless way and the gentle guidance that his character showed,
That those who were once deemed irredeemably astray, changed from morals corroded to guiding stars whose character was lauded, رضي الله عنهم و رضوا عنه
So honoured is his being, that mercy from Ar Rahmaan is promised those who hold firmly to the fortified rope of his Sunnah
و أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول لعلكم ترحمون
And yet.. to where are we turning oh Ummah of Al Mustafaa?
If Ash Shakoor has stated unequivocally, that in following his Sunnah lies prosperity internally and for all eternity
Then His promise is what we embrace with full certainty
And yet.. when our souls seek and our hearts yearn..
Our minds often forget the great lesson learned, that the deepest contentment and steadiest ground is only found
When his words and his way become that to which we are bound
And still yet.. why have we shackled ourselves to the diabolical duplicity of dunya?
When our limbs grow weary and every corner of this existence of transience drowns us further,
We forget that the strength we desire comes from the rope of Sunnah
For if He in the heavens promises, that to us Habib Rasulullah is Uswantun Hasanah,
Then foolish is he who searches for another
It is then only natural that the conclusion of those who hold fast to the path of his goodness will be a heart at ease, an existence amidst His special devotees and such blessings which will never cease.
