If students and teachers at our school petition to have school start later, could that actually be a thing?

I assume it would conflict with sports and other after school stuff, but that's what the morning could be used for (or would that conflict with other schools with sports or whatever?)

All thanks to my Rizzley. Who slaved away for hours and hours, after having to deal with me change my mind about my background every three and a quarter seconds. <3 I dunno what I'd do without her.

So swimming's over. (At least it is for me since I didn't make districts xD)

It was a lot of hard work, but it was really, really fun.

Events I've done:

50 free

100 free

200 free

500 free

100 back

100 free relay

200 free relay

400 free relay

During the middle of the season, I started to realize that I'm more of a long distance swimmer than a fast swimmer...so I started to do the 200 and eventually the 500. Those two are probably my favorite, just because they're slow enough to actually enjoy swimming. That and I don't like sprinting. Least favorite is definitely the 100 free because I CAN'T SPRINT THE ENTIRE TIME...

Also about my 200 today, I was really proud of it. It was sub districts, so I was swimming with people who were around my level. Normally when I do the 200, I take it nice and slow, and then speed up on the last 50 or so. But when I started, I noticed the girl in the lane next to me, while slightly ahead, was going about the same speed as I was. So I was like, what the heck, I'll push it a little bit and maybe I'll beat her. By the middle, we were head to head. By my last 50 though, I was ahead and kept going faster to stay ahead. And I beat her. I got 2nd in my heat. And I improved my time by like TEN SECONDS. So yeah I was really happy after that :D

Also Jessie and I were like almost tied in our 50. :3

Btw Riley I'm really glad I got you to swim this year. I hope you enjoyed it. I know you didn't get to swim as much as the rest of us since you came in later in the season, but I think you should keep going with it if you find a way, because you were really good.

Hopefully we can get more people next year so we get our own pool! :D
