A Tribute to Virginia & Hip-Hop Culture
For the campaign, Pharrell tapped none other than Clipse—the legendary hip-hop duo and Virginia Beach natives—to bring the vision to life. Shot by fellow Virginian Cam Hicks, the campaign captures the raw energy of their hometown, showcasing its people, streets, and culture in a way that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
The Superstar 92: Bigger, Bolder, and Built to Stand Out
Dubbed the “Double Wide,” the Superstar 92 channels ‘90s aesthetics with snowboard boot-inspired details. The sneaker features thick padding around the ankle for comfort and a chunky sole that makes a statement. Keeping it personal, Pharrell stamps “VIRGINIA” on the tongue, a nod to his roots and the culture that shaped him.
