🐙 Episode 2: Frogs, Teeth and Taxes 🐙 Once again, the journalist Matthias knew someone that would allow us easy access to the safe deposit box. The sorts of contacts this hanger-on has is interesting, and very suspect. Also quite tiring how he lords his contacts. No matter, I now have the statue Daniel intended me to find. Two paths are materialising now that I have the Statue Of Tsathoggua in hand. One, avenge Daniel’s death by tracking down these frog men, and destroying them. They are nothing like I’ve experienced before in this life, and my gut is telling me that something is very wrong here. Two, sell the statue, retire to my own island, and forget this sordid tale. Which I would do, if these bloody creatures would stop following us, and this statue would stop speaking! After I spotted them at the bank, and dropped their tail, they somehow found us at Matthias’s rat nest. This disgusting tentacled amphibian humanoid that spoke in nothing but greetings, cut past Matthias and caused Giles to start gibbering in disbelief. I think his world may be cracking apart now that art seems to be less than the most important thing in the world. Pah. Once again, I killed the beast, though with a bit more assistance. My companions may not be that useless after all. But most interestingly of all, is the journal Giles found on the body. The journal... that points to Jimmy’s involvement in all this. That’s right, the sleaze-bag Jimmy that runs the Hotel Grande.
