“Coolamon Country Byron Bay 002” - an A5 #collage made from #watercolour, ink, graphite, paper. * This collage is part of community gifting project I call #TheCollageConnection. I’m gifting a series of collages to people most in need, in these troubling times. Why am I doing this? * In short connection heals. (I have made 3 videos about this project if you’re curious they explain the thought behind the project). * In ecology the way we heal a fractured or failing ecosystem is to connect it to more of itself. Connectivity restores the circle of life. I think we can all acknowledge life as we have known it has been fractured. Whether that is through a conspiracy or an unfortunate accident. We as a global community can move forward, we can evolve, we can grow through connection, kindness and love. * These collages have been made from up-cycling watercolour paintings. Finding pieces that worked and remixing them into something beautiful. To me this is great metaphor for what I intend to do with the opportunity of isolation this pandemic presents. * #connectionheals #stayhome #strongertogether #australianart #australianartist #abstractlandscape (at Byron Bay, New South Wales) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_vVNnCDJhI/?igshid=uqgzh2xxlcb6
