This part of the bedroom is finished. My little fireplace actually belonged to my grandparents who bought this in early 1970 in London. It’s an electric bar fire and still has the original Uk plug, of course I can’t or dare try it! Knowing me it would blow up!!! It’s painted in Annie Sloan Pure White and sealed in White Wax. Sitting on top is two fenders of a fireplace that was found by my dad after a bomb hit London during the war. They were turned into lights. Again can’t use them here, but I love them and what a story could be told. Lampshades are painted in French Linen and Pure White. The French Market Bag I sell in my shop. That’s the trouble, things come into the shop and I sneak them home! Oh dear!!! #bigwhitegoose #thecollectedhome #junkrefunkmarket #anniesloanhome #anniesloanamerica #simplelife #countryliving (at Newberg, Oregon)
