                she had gotten to jack’s apartment as quickly as she could.  prior to this,  mia was perfectly knee deep into some bullshit that she tends to find herself in.  some guy with his pride and ego wounded decided to take his revenge on the other’s woman’s meddling.  and usually,  the fixer wouldn’t involve herself in other people’s matters.  but jack was not only a good friend,  but mia had already been tracking this guy for a week before hearing the other’s name. yet,  mia has arrived early enough to give her close friend a heads up and an extra hand.  “  there’s a devil waiting outside your door.  “  well,  there was actually more than one guy heading to the apartment.
