"Did you enjoy your time in the fields, Hayseed?" Junkenstein has his hands folded together in front of himself, leaning far to one side looking at the edge of the field. He clearly does not wish to step foot within it but is straining to find the other through the mess. "...Hayseed?"
The crops gently swayed with the wind as it carried the doctors voice causing the scarecrow to look up from his ever growing trinket pile. How long has he been out here? Loosing track of time was something Hayseed seemed to be great at especially with how chatty the flowers have been. It wasn’t like time truly mattered to him though, he just feared the doctor would become lonely if he spend all of it in the fields.
“ I’m comin’!” He called out, hoping the crops didn’t silence his voice to much, before carefully shifting through his pile of treasures. Once he found what he was looking for he jumped to his feet and ran towards the edge of the field. Stepping carefully over the teeth of traps hidden by the crops, passing the mounds of dirt that the field will cover before nightfall, ignoring the chatting of the flowers begging him to stay.
“ Doctor!” The scarecrow practically pounced from the field into the doctor, wrapping his arms around the other man. Hayseed giggled as he rubbed the side of his mask against Junkenstein’s cheek effectively covering him with whatever dirt and grime he brought from the fields,” I missed ya!”
