@thecourtoftalons
It had been a long day for the Red Hood. Between the fighting and the international incidents, he was ready for a nice respite at his new apartment. After the last one blew up (due to some sloppiness on his part), there was the promise of a shower and a nice nap before doing this all again. And as he opened the door, there sat the whole of the Talons.
“...”
“How the fuck did you sons of bitches find this place so fast!?” Was he really getting this sloppy? Or was it too much to hope that he didn’t have to go to a safehouse every single night to sleep?
thecourtoftalons replied to your post: you know selina fends off like a dozen marriage...
do you need them dead
i mean tbh the rejection probably kills them
“Do you pay for your crimes?”
[ IAMX LYRIC SENTENCE MEME ]
“What crimes?” Pamela said in a falsely innocent tone, holding the bloodied hand behind her back as she faced down the suit-clad stranger.
"You have the demeanor of a monk, but your robes are not known to me."
“I’m not surprised. My people aren’t well known on Earth. You on the other hand look very strange, almost like an owl.”

they say that the city isn’t beautiful. that the lights from the skyscrapers and the cars are pollution, that they drown out the light of the stars. but from where she’s laying, the stars are beautiful, like diamonds studded in a sea of blue-black velvet. she has never noticed them before, never took the time to look. odes written to summer blue skies and sunny days, but the night sky is something to marvel at.
the park is quiet, and the grass is cool and damp beneath her. the wind rustles the leaves on the trees, and she is reminded of the time her father took her camping. the sound reminds her of the tree he put the tent under, and how much fun she had being taught to fish. the memory is bittersweet but it tugs her lips into a faint smile. no doubt he’ll be there, waiting, on the other side, whatever that may be.
her breathing is shallow, her palms stained with blood. the lawn she lays on is slick with it, the moonlight making it appear silver instead of the damning red it is. the wound to her neck is surely fatal, clean edged and deep, but there’s no pain. the shock had worn off, and coldness was setting in, first at her fingertips and spreading upwards.
she doesn’t hear them approaching, too focused on the sparkling, beckoning stars.
blood is clean.

Alexander looks at the other man from behind the mask. And then he takes his arm, and just…
Snap.
Yes, he just broke his arm with no effort or hesitation. And then it just… fixes itself.
“I’m already dead. If you seek death, it would take me less than a second to kill you.” What a great road trip member.
❝First, that was fuckin’ gross....please don’t do that ever again. And I don’t say please very often, mate. SECOND been there, done that, twice, kinda over the whole dyin’ thing, but cheers anyways.❞
