WARNING: Long post ahead... :) Skip if you're busy. ๐ ๐๐ . . Last year I was busy creating, writing and editing a special project. A personal dream and a creative endeavor... A #PassionProject called @thecreativepassport. It's a book/workbook about creativity. (No complete details for now...) It is currently on hold as I continue to do revisions and considering to go for a self-publish way or a traditional publisher... While working on it, a new thought (and dream/wish) came in. Since it's about creativity, my ๐ญ thoughts wander with the ๐ก idea/posibility of doing a #CreativeRetreat! Maybe a weekend that I share some creative activities for anyone who would like to do a passion project. . . . Fast forward 5 months after completing the first draft of #TheCreativePassport ... si Lord talaga binibigay ang desire ng puso ๐... He chose me to deliver a workshop for the #UAEYFLYouthCongress last Friday. A Creative Writing workshop! Kung dati dream lang cya, it became true! Indeed the community has allowed me to explore the diffefent aspects of life. It has allowed me to go out of my comfort zone, do things I thought I'd never do. Sing! Ohhh my! Yes I did! Haha ๐... Dance, draw, deliver a talk and now a creative workshop! How beautiful is it!?! . . . As I went home riding the one and half hour bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, I reflect on the reality that God has planted a seed in our heart to do wonders. To recognize that there is magic inside us! A gift, a blessing from above. Thus making us responsible as well to share it to those who need it... I do hope that the short 20-25-minute workshop that I did to those 11 youngsters has planted a desire into their hearts to explore more of the creative world of writing. A big shout out to these YFLs! Loriz, Karel, Matthew, Enrick, Aurielle, Lorea, Zane, Guenevieve, Tanya, Jade, & Eliza. Two of them used to be my students for a week! . .
