Irgendwann sehen wir uns wieder

I know everyone has been on the edge of their seat for this update! It's been fifteen years since I've touch oil paints. I've always loved them but didn't want to make the initial investment for all of the supplies. I finally bit the bullet last month and got a full set up of professional grade paints. 

Here is "Always in My Heart" - a take on one of the sketch a day drawings from 2015. This is a photo time lapse I created as I progressed.  I'm very happy with my first attempt at oils and can't wait to keep learning! 

She will be available for purchase as soon as she's dry (which does take a while with oils and is something I'll have to get used too) and varnished. She measures 9" x 12" on stretched canvas. Once I get her scanned in I'll post her again with all the details.
