@thecrimsonmonster liked for an 03′ verse starter!
Elias was very well aware of the fact that the world was not built to accommodate the short. Which included the actual bar within the Devil’s Nest, the top shelf holding a much coveted, preferred bottle of brandy. Even on his tip toes his fingers couldn’t graze the bottle. With not a stool or ladder behind the bar to help him either.
He’d ask for one before, Greed just told him “to fly to get what you need, bird boy.” As if booze was worth the effort and energy of shifting. He could get a chair, but as he found in the past the added height still didn’t get him quite where he needed to be. The man looked around- the nest was rather empty today those within out and about doing their own thing. Well, with the exception of one.
“Kimbley?” For a brief moment, Elias feels willing to swallow his pride and ask for help getting this damn bottle down. Though he can feel that he will swiftly regret this decision.
“I can’t...do you mind coming and grabbing this down for me?”
