Probs I'll never post much of it here, because I'm working on a second draft and angling for publication, BUT.

It's a high-fantasy adventure about a girl named Miri who gets basically recruited into going to save the world because of this (extremely vague) prophesy. She goes along with these two dudes, Kriss and El, who are in an established relationship (though she doesn't know that when they first set out). They get kind of screwed over along the way by general politics, asshole kings, cryptic elves, and monster attacks, and then when they finally reach their first goal (which is to find these ancient immortal elemental mage type people, called the Tel'Imaya, and earn their wisdom, or something, it's a bit unclear in the prophecy) it doesn't exactly go as planned. It's definitely a story more about personal strength and determination, and the bravery of ordinary people, than a story about giant battles and swords and sorcery and big political messes like Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones.

SO. MUCH. FUN. TO. WRITE. I've been working on it for about three years now, and I'm 20,000 words into my second draft. I checked you out- you're writing fantasy too, right?
