Zelda is held prisoner in the Palace of Clouds with her past assailant, Vaati, the evil wind mage. She struggles to call her magic abilities to escape, but she finds an unexpected tutor in her captor. The princess doesn't understand why he's helping her, but she intends to use him just as much as he plans to use her.
The heroes rescue the maidens through rigorous battles against deadly huge monsters across the land. They finally find their way to the Palace of Clouds, but discover an improbable ally to aid in their final battle against Shadow and Ganon.
The heroes finally regroup and explode their way into the deep mines the Red Maiden is trapped in. All four of them work together to defeat the source of the plague, but they're shocked when the dark hero appears and gives Green a chance for the revenge he's been waiting for.

I'm a lot happier with how they are now than before. I think it finally gets the direction the over arching plot is going in and leaves just enough detail about the subplots without spoiling it.
