Exactly games can be enjoyed old and new. I mean my lil cousins got into the old sonic games from the 90s and crash and spyro arent too old (20 and 18 years old) theyre still classics. The playstation one and two were my first systems ever anyway lol
same here! I actually wasn’t that into gaming as a kid but was really excited to get the ps1 (growing up poor, it was a very big thing). the first game I played on it was Spyro, but I also really liked Crash Bandicoot!
it’s great that a lot of those types of games can be enjoyed by a wide array of audiences, even several years after their release and hype.
#ask#thedankfanboy#i think donkey kong for the nes was the first game i ever played#also completely unrelated and a lil tmi but#story time#the second console we ever owned was the gamecube#and let me just say i love it and everyone i've talked to makes fun of me for it lol#but anyway#my parent picked up loz twilight princess#and i had little interest in the series#but i saw link on the cover and lowkey fell in love#and you know how liking fictional characters was still really weird then#so i kept it to myself but played the game because i thought link was cute#and now loz remains one of my favourite franchises#not for that reason#but that was basically what made me play the game#tp is still my favourite loz game i don't care what y'all say
