“The Naming” - Part 9

SkekSo and urSu try to remember their past so they can maybe use the names of SoSu’s parents for the kids. They seek the help of the leading masters of Haven. However their urSkeks spirit resists to remember his life and this causes some trouble.

We can see Haven as a whole from the air and the mountain of the Heartspring, which keeps the planet alive.

To give some context, SoSu does not want to exists, because he believes his two separate side has a more meaningfull life than he would. He thinks of himself as a failure and shame for his line and thus only reforms reluctantly during the story. He wants to keep this peaceful life of SkekSo and urSu raising the little hatchlings.

He has a hard case being a father, since he remembers he was somewhat of a father-figure on Thra and how terrible he was. He loves the three little furballs even if they annoy him sometimes. He is super terrified that he might hurt them... that is the thing in his nightmares now.

“The Naming” - Part 2 A little law-reading with SkekOk, who enjoys his life in Haven’s library. SkekSo and urSu get a bit distressed, since they don’t have parents and they don’t remember the names of SoSu’s parents either, so they could use those for the kids.

Adult SkekSoa, the Adventurer

I didn't made fully colored things a while. The reason is, that my had really hurt after work and it was simply painful to draw with mouse. So... I made a decision and bought a wacom tablet. This is the first thing I made with that. <3

Soa was mentored by auntie SkekSa and her mom SkekShi together. She later joins SkekSa on her ship as her appretice.

Older son is mentored by SkekMal and becomes a bit of a wild card of the family. Enjoys battle and often goes on adventures as a mercenary.

Youngest son has a dangerous encounter with his grandfather SkekZash who tries to convert him into one of his machine-priests. He only succeeds taking his right arm, before son is rescued. He becomes an expert on urSkeks history and language. Also becomes a successful tomb raider and artifact collector in the process.

“The Naming” - Part 3  This will circle back to the babies I promise, but we take a de-tour now. SkekShod, the former Treasurer lives with his urRu urYod, and together they make trinkets. Haven works on a barter-system, so you give things for other things you need. There is no coin.  Also a little about the young urRu. They walk with straight back and that makes them the talles sentient beings on the planet. They can be brash like skeksis children. The two deviate from each other as they go older. urRu slow down as they get old.
