It wasn't safe for them to land on Earth but that didn't stop them from sending a shuttle up to dock with the large ship. Faith rose and fell on the balls of her feet, and as soon as the shuttle opened she tackled her brother, in a manner that would seem uncharacteristic for those that had just recently met Faith. She clung to him pressing and affectionate kiss to his head, before finally drawing away, she did hug Angel as well. She missed the shit, she missed the Angel she knew. That was who the hug was for, he was still in there somewhere. What Angel didn't expect when she drew away was to end up flat on the floor. It had been a while since he'd been punched by a Slayer.
He reached up and popped his jaw back in place, but didn't stand right away, as he calmed himself, "Shit...I forgot how hard Slayer's hit," he muttered, he stood him slowly, "I deserved that," he acknowledged, but wrinkled up his head, "But I expected him to hit me," he gave Faith a curious look, "Interesting."
Even the tone of voice was almost closer to that of Angelus than Angel's soft spoken tone. It made Faith a little tense, not because she was worried, Fae wouldn't have brought him up there, it made her tense because Angel had helped yank her out of the darkness that was slowly swallowing him back up. It was actually rather painful.
