Scream Factory has released the new official trailer for Hail to the Deadites as they have picked up the film for distribution. The documentary will officially be released on digital and demand on July 27th in the U.S. While no release date is known for the film for a physical or international release, it is most likely to be in late 2021.

Hail to the Deadites has officially premiered in Canada as of August 20th! The film is showing as part of the Fantasia Film Festival and tickets are limited and geo-blocked to Canadians. You have until September 2nd to view the film. You can buy your ticket here.

The first screening with attendance will be at the Buffalo Dream Fantastic Film Fest at 3:30 pm on Thursday, Aug. 27th. You can visit the fest’s website here. 

The International premiere of Hail to the Deadites will take place at FrightFest on Sunday, August 30th at 3PM. This will be geoblocked to the UK and Ireland territories. You can buy your ticket here.

People from the west coast of the USA will be able to watch Hail to the Deadites between September 6th 7pm and Sept 7th 11:45pm via the Horrible Imagining website. This time, it will be limited to 500 views and geo-blocked to the west coast of the USA. No information has been released yet for East Coast viewers. You can get your ticket here.

It’s that time of year again and we’re always one to be generous so we’re running our annual Halloween submission contest! A random submission will be chosen and the winner will be able to bring home a nice cozy The Evil Dead VHS throw blanket from Creepy Company.

RULES:

1.) Submit your Halloween Evil Dead costumes or Halloween themed post (baked goods, jack-o-lanterns, etc). by visiting the submit page over here. You can only submit once for one entry. To submit a photo, click on the bolded option “text” and you can switch to submitting a photo.

Chicago Flashback Weekend TDS Official Contest!

Since we were so fortunate to attend Chicago Flashback Weekend, we brought back a gift for one lucky fan to give away. We are giving away one signed photo by Sam Raimi (done in person) and here’s how you can try to make this yours.

There are three ways to enter.

If you subscribe on YouTube and follow on Twitter include this in the email to [email protected] with your handle on both. Doing all three will enter you in the draw for the photo three times so your chances increase. The contest ends at 6pm EST on August 17th so be sure to enter quick. Also make sure to check your email shortly after the deadline as no response in 48 hours will mean a new winner will be chosen.

The Deadite Slayer announcements - Ash vs. Evil Dead season 3 exclusives!

February is just around the corner and TDS has you guys covered for season 3. It’s rather fitting that for the third season that we have three exclusives planned for you deadites starting as early as the second week of February. Here’s what we have to offer and I hope that you’ll enjoy what’s up and coming.

1.) A new Ash vs Evil Dead season 3 contest

For those of you who’ve followed us for awhile, you may be accustomed to our love of giving back. One lucky fan got the Best Buy exclusive season 2 steelbook not too long ago, but we’re giving out another goodie this month to spice things up again. This contest will encourage fan participation instead of a simple draw. Prize and contest rules to be announced soon! 

2.) Exclusive Ash vs Evil Dead season 3 review

We got a first look and you can expect that you’re going to hear about it. A review will be posted a week before the season premiere for Ash vs. Evil Dead season 3. This is rather exciting as we’d love to share more but you’re just going to have to wait for this one!

3.) Exclusive Ash vs. Evil Dead cast interviews

Two cast members will be chatting with TDS about season 3 and their careers but which ones? Interviews will be announced next week and published shortly thereafter and you guys are not going to want to miss what they have to say!

Official The Deadite Slayer contest: Win the Ash vs. Evil Dead season 2 Best Buy exclusive steelbook on us!

To celebrate the release of season 2, we have an extra steelbook available to give out to one of you deadites. This will be the same as last year to enter, giving everyone an easy and ample chance to win a copy. The BD is advertised as region A but might be region free. The contest is open to everyone.
