#tbt INSECURE 208A "HELLA DIFFERENT"! I remember being in Chicago with @mgpenick when @insecurehbo premiered on @hbo. We didn't watch it then though because [mgp was NOT having it] there was this western show premiering with that brilliant, iconic, underrated actor...um...Jeffrey Wright (MY GOD SOMEBODY GIVE HIM A MOVIE!!). Fast forward to returning home to LA [where I can actually control the tv] and taking a chance on that "Insecure" show with @bpostive22 and really not connecting with the first three episodes. Then...it happened! Episode 4, I was hooked! I'd never written a spec before, wasn't really inclined to, though I had many thoughts to do so [there was a @scandalabc spec in the works for a while] because every show I watch and grow to like or love and/or get obsessed with, I start to exist in.
