It was some old black and white movies that did it; the ones his Mama had from her great-great-grandaddy. She had sent them to him when she found them, along with a lengthy note on how much he used to love them.

He figured Jim would love them as much as he did, which is why he wasn’t expecting them to put him to sleep on Jim.

“Oh, c’mon, what kind of person do you think I am?” Okay, so Rex killed his father, but the bastard had it coming. Besides, the man wasn’t stupid enough to do away with the very person that was aiding him in fleeing from the police, especially when the fun had only just begun. “You don’t have to tell me twice.” Shortly after the trunk was opened, he went ahead with shoving one of the body bags in the trunk. So far so good.

Bragging was something that Rex did more often than not. Hell, it was something he was known for doing, especially when it dealt with the large amounts of wealth that he owned. “Then I suppose I should try staying out of jail then, huh? Can’t have nearly as much fun in there.” That was Rex’s one slipup in this whole ordeal. If he would have killed his father without the trio knowing it was him, he wouldn’t have to worry about being caught. Those three would be in jail at this very moment. “So when do you drive the nice, fancy cars then, hmm?”

New aboard the Enterprise

Ezri stepped aboard the ship that she had been put aboard. It was just about the only place that they would put her. She wandered around the ship a bit not seeing many people around where she was to ask for directions around the ship. Soon she ran into the captain. “Oh! I’m so sorry, I’m Ensign Ezri Dax, I’m the new transfer for assistant councilor.” She said nervously.
