Artemis tries to keep her arm steady as the other tends to her injuries. Even after she had tried to numb the pain with her own magic in the quick moments while he wasn’t looking, her arm still trembled.
The keybearer hadn’t been speaking about the Heartless just then; there is another monstrous entity that she only managed to reseal the chains and relock the door behind her. It had been the Skeleton, not the numerous Heartless, who had inflicted these injuries on her and somehow growing ever stronger while Artemis grew more fatigued with each passing day.
In what felt like minutes before, Marluxia had found her passed out just several feet away from the couch which she is on now. “Stop.” rasps Artemis, failing to realize that he could be speaking about the Heartless, “You are different. You...’re fighting it. They...The’v...They’ve given in completely.” A nap is starting to sound good to her as the keybearer is beginning to slump forward and nod off.
