Do you have favorite fancasts? I know I have favorite faces- though not necessarily for my favorite characters and I wondered if that was just me?

I definitely do! And I agree it doesn’t have to be my favorite characters but I think some fancasts fit them perfectly. 

Here are some of my faves:

Olga Kalicka as Rhaenys Targaryen. I spent a long time looking for the actress/model that would be a perfect Rhaenys for me but then I saw Olga in some russian period drama and she reminded me of this art. 

Alicia Agneson as Daenaera Velaryon. 

Ayanat Yesmagambetova and Aya Shalkar as Lyanna Stark. I like to headcanon the Starks as central asians or yakut and both Ayanat and Aya are kazakh. For me they are true definition of wild, northern beauty. 

Marina Nery as Elenei. Elenei is a magical creature and Marina has that fairy-like appearance. 

Shriya Pilgaonkar and Golshifteh Farahani as Elia Martell. I still can’t make up my mind about who I like more: Shriya has that delicate beauty and Golshifteh kindness in her eyes Elia was known for. 

Özge Törer as Ashara Dayne. This is my favorite Ashara fancast ever: Özge looks like a cheerful girl with laughing beautiful eyes and I headcanon that Ashara was about 15-17 during the Rebellion era. 

Candice Swanepoel as Shiera Seastar. 

Jenna Coleman as the younger Rhaenys TQWNW. 

The list can go on, but all the actors/models I use for this blog are pretty much my favorite fancasts! Thank you for the interesting question :)

My favorite thing about fandoms is legit always the fanfic (hooo the QUALITY here in Darklina is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻) & I genuinely Iove celebrating fellow creators & the joy (also pain. I’m an angst loving idiot) they bring to my own life. It is TERRIFYING to make content here because my anxiety is at 11 though, so I appreciate you reaching out & saying they aren’t awful. 😹

What are your favorite sho and book Arya moments?

Hi there :) For book moments, my favorites are:

The old gods speaking to Arya, galvanizing her to reclaiming her autonomy and this line: “I am a direwolf and done with wooden teeth.”

Tricking Jaqen into changing the terms of their deal and the weasel soup.

The combined three instances of her giving water to dying men.

Harwin revealing who she was and kneeling to her on the same spot where the last KITN before Robb knelt to Aegon the Conqueror. 

The memory Arya has in AGOT that’s probably foreshadowing the series climax when she stands her ground against ghost!Jon and “protects” Bran.

The whole of Cat of the Canals. 

Arya’s wolf dreams.

I don’t have an favorite show moments since I don’t consider that character to be Arya.

The first song I connected to Bangel from Taylor is probably “Breathe” which is from her 2008 album “Fearless” (ofc you know this shjdgsgd) I’ve been a fan of Buffy longer than I have been a fan of Taylor’s (only by like... a year or two), and by the time I got into Taylor’s music, the only albums she had out were debut and “Fearless”. So, basically I only had two albums to associate and make connections with to Buffy/Angel, and I immediately thought of them when I listened to “Breathe” (special shout out to “Untouchable” but it’s technically not her song).

Oh this one is tough because I associate Bangel with *so many* Taylor songs, but a lot of them I associate specific verses with them rather than the entire song (a good example is “Hoax”) But I’m going to have to go with “Death By a Thousand Cuts” from her seventh studio album, “Lover.”

My icon is SMG as Faith for a few reasons. First, SMG is incredible in that episode and the shot of her I have as my icon is very iconic. Second, I also love Fuffy a lot and I thought it was a fun way to pay homage to both of my slayer girlfriends at the same time!

Hello! I was wondering if you have favorite art pieces of any dragons? Is it your favorite dragon? Is the dragon the size it was in the books (personalizes, I love art where Balerion is actually big enough to swallow a mammoth)? Do the books give a description of the dragon (lookin at you, Vhagar...)? Why is/are that/those art piece(s) you favorite(s)?

I do like art that shows the size of the big dragons or the specific details we are given about the ddragons, but I also like art that shows the bond between a dragon and their rider.

Those are my favourites from the past year and a bit. If I look back further I am sure I will find more and more but this post is getting long already so I might stop there. I’m not sure if I have a current favourite dragon but I do feel attached to Dany’s dragons whenever I reread her chapters.
