Forgive my ramblings, I believe this might be my fourth post in the past hour on this topic, but I am very interested in talking about it.
I’m very interested in seeing how they will move forward with Jack Abbot’s characterization with the confirmation that we won’t to be having Mohan in season three.
Because, off top of my head, I am pretty sure that people he has been the most casual with in The Pitt have been both Robby and Mohan. (You can say Dana and maybe the full night shift, maybe? I think…? But I think mostly the two I mentioned.)
It could just be my viewing of it, but we saw a lighter side of Jack with those two individuals specifically and we know that Robby is still going to be there in the season three (obviously.)
But with Samira‘s confirmed non-appearance in the following season and by the looks of it, the set up of her and Jack possibly being in a relationship down the line, (based the scenes that Samira and Jack both shared) but will now not happen down the line (also for obvious reasons). It would be interesting to see how this affects the characterization of Jack Abbot.
I don’t know if this is how everyone works, but when I write a character, I consider how other characters around them and the relationship with those characters will affect and shape them.
So with scenes showing that Abbot and Mohan would have had a storyline that has to do with one another be it romantic or otherwise, I’m really interested in seeing how the removal of Mohan will affect Abbot’s characterization.
And I really wonder if it’s going to be a turn for the bad or return for the good.
