Sigyn sat alone in the student lounge, trying to enjoy herself a cup of steaming coffee. It had only been a few days since the passing of her husband's student Lance. But he was more than just that to her. She only shared a few moments with him in the infirmary, and even here in the lounge, but she considered him to be one of the first friends she had made in this building.
Taking one last sip of the beverage, she placed the cup down on the counter. She lowered her eyes to the floor, beginning to notice her eyes fill up with tears. It wasn't until she heard the sound of someone entering the room that she brought her hands up to her face, and quickly wiped the tears. " Hello there," she said, turning her head to the side, and giving the girl a humble smile. " I didn't think any students would be up so early."
