Klaus:

Favorite thing about them: his kindness. Despite how his family sometimes treats him, and despite his own issues, Klaus has demonstrated time and time again that he is incredibly kind and sensitive towards other people’s issues/emotions.

least favorite thing about them: that he was forced into self-destructive behavior to cope with his power (it’s not his fault!!, that’s not what I’m hinting at, I just hate that it happens to him, does that make sense?)

favorite line: a tie between ‘the only person I have truly loved more than myself’ (about Dave) and ‘Yeah, and for all we know, she might be struggling with this new power. I mean, it must be scary. Terrifying, really, to discover that you can do something you never thought you could to’

random headcanon: I like to think that somehow Klaus is able to bring Dave to his own timeline and save Dave and that then we have scenes of Dave getting used to the future and being happy with Klaus.

unpopular opinion: I’m not sure if I have an unpopular opinion on Klaus, or if I’m aware that I have it :P His is my favourite power and I would actually want to have it - not sure if this is unpopular.

I used to play the guitar (and for some time the penny whistle as well) in a Celtic band for most of my childhood (we did shows and did Celtic dancing and all that jazz lol), the Thunderbirds puppets really creeped me out as a child and they still do -shudders- (there’s an advert on TV currently with them in and I need it to stop), I LOVEEEE Gidget from The Secret Life Of Pets, I used to hate garlic and now I love it, as a child I thought Disney was said like Dis-neY but was spelled like Disnep (you know how some words are weird like that for real) because of the way the Y looks - I thought it was a P for such a long time haha >-<’

sea: what music, art and/or literature brings you peace?

When I’m having worse days with my anxiety I always resort to nature sounds, either on Spotify or on an incredible app called Relax Melodies. Music wise, LOTR’s soundtrack, Ghibli music in piano, Olafur Arnalds, and Handel are my to-go. Art wise, I have to admit I find it hard to connect with paintings, but Alma-Tadema’s work always gets me. Literature… almost all books bring me peace, really. Neruda’s poetry, Aciman’s beautiful story, Miller’s intricate and alive narrative of romance, Hobb’s incredible characters and universe…

opal: talk about your interests and passions

I’m at a time of my life where it’s a bit hard for me to do so because I’m incredibly tired and anxious and my way of dealing with it is pressing on and numbing things out (hurrah, high functioning anxiety). There are, however, two things (and I hate calling the first one a ‘thing’) that never fails to help me: animals and books. Animals have always been an interest of mine (I’ve been consuming BBC and Nat Geo documentaries since I’m a little human) and have become a passion (both by adopting and by being an avid environmentalist). Thus, I can say that Nature is one of my passions as well. Books have always stuck with me, as well. I’ve studied literature in my BA and, no matter where I go or what I’m going to do, I always carry a book with me. Sims have also been a passion of mine since they came out!

1. Are you named after anyone? I mean, a lot of people throughout history have my name, but I don’t think my parents chose it after anyone in particular - nor is there any other in my family with my second name (the one I use).

2. When was the last time you cried? Yesterday.

3. Do you have kids? I don’t and I hope I never will.

4. Do you use sarcasm? Depends on the circumstance, but I do like sarcasm.

5. What is the first thing you notice about people? Their manners towards others, eyes, and smile.

6. What is your eye color? Dark brown.

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Scary movies. My PhD thesis focuses on those.

8. Any special talents? I can play the flute with my nose, I’m also a fairly good impersonator of Britney Spears’ voice. I’m also especially talented at anxiety.

9. Where were you born? At a maternity hospital.

10. What are your hobbies? Reading, movies, photography, music, gaming.

11. Do you have any pets? In my heart, I will forever have my dog.

12. What sports do you play/have you played? Before my injuries, I used to play tennis and do the trampoline. I also played football and danced (ballet and contemporary).

13. How tall are you? Tall enough to be mistaken for a hobbit. 

14. Favorite subject in school? History and English.

15. Dream job? Don’t have one. I just wish to have a job that gives me enough stability for me to live a peaceful life.
