    There’s little to say as she beholds the sight of the fastest flyer in Pixie Hollow, wings covered in sticky juice from the explosion of Tink’s latest machine. It was just a TEENSY miscalculation, but she’s positive as pixie dust that Vidia won’t see it that way...

     “I can...uh, wash your wings for you?” she offeres, wincing.

“Tinker Bell, I don’t want to talk about this anymore. Please, just–” Vidia stopped. 

Go away. The words stopped before they were even formed. She couldn’t finish the sentence. She didn’t really want to be alone. Not now, anyway.

“There is no way I can build up enough speed for that. It’s just not possible!”

    “You’re the expert,” Tink conceded. If the fastest fast flyer in the kingdom, the one fairy who knew most about her own speed said it wasn’t possible...maybe it was time to accept it and move along. But something felt so very wrong about that.

     Tink couldn’t leave off without one more comment. “It’s your choice, but I just thought you should know I still believe in you.“

“Uh, you can try to pinch me, if you want,” she shrugged. How much pain could such tiny fingers cause? But wow, she couldn’t take her eyes off the creature. “A real fairy. I’ve always dreamed of meeting a fairy.” So many dreary indoor days spent reading books about fairies and pixies and other little sprites. Her parents rolled their eyes when she still talked about them at thirteen or fourteen, but she was a stubborn one for sure. And besides, in those days, she needed any little speck of happiness she could get. “Uh, do you have a name? I-I’m Anna.”

“Right! I’m on it!” Bolt replied, wings fluttering. He had been surprised when he had bumped into Vidia at the Fairy Ball. He had been even more surprised when she didn’t yell at him or storm away in disgust. He quickly bolted over to the refreshment bar and came back with two steaming cups. His hands shook a little as he held out the cup meant for her. “I didn’t know how you like your tea, so I made it like mine: two cubes of sugar and just a dash of milk.” He ducked his head as he felt a blush creeping up his neck. “I hope that is okay...”

Honestly, this list changes all the time, the only constants are the first two. Also, to make it easier on myself, I looked only at songs from original movies. No sequels, no Disney park songs, no Broadway songs (oh my god we would be here forever), no TV show songs, no songs written for standalone CDs.top 5 lists are really hard for me lol

A few days after their conversation via text, Bell showed up at Vivienne’s apartment with a car full of crap necessities. She had tried to pack as lightly as possible and had indeed packed only one suitcase worth of clothes (for hope that she wouldn’t be there long enough to warrant more), but the piles of kitchenware, her toolbox, toiletries and bedding took up the rest of the trunk.

“In my defense,” she started, peppering Viv with her excuses the second she opened the door, not giving so much as a ‘hey’ in greeting. “Half of it is going in the kitchen and I NEED the rest of it.”
