I mean I’m trying to go at it optimistically. Like it’s a whole new type of tragedy? Like Melanie just wanted to be happy and have love and her dad just did everything to keep that from her and it sort of broke her? I mean it’s a STRETCH I know, but like it keeps it sad and keeps Mels sympathetic. She’s just in an awful situation that broke her down, or something. I dunno...

(Heh heh “Stretch” - I get it. Anyway - )

Yeahh. And I totally get that. To me, she becomes more of an object in the beginning of the ride, having several suitors that her dad (who’s officially the Phantom now, because whatever) offs one at a time. It could work as a tragic story - the only thing that undercuts it completely for me is the “Will you marry me??” She loses her sympathy points with me, and it seems kind of undignified, as if all she wants to do in life is get married. (Frankly, it’s a very strong Constance copy, as well.) I always liked the “one and only” groom aspect much more romantic/tragic - she defied the Phantom and stayed faithful to the idea of her love returning up until her death.

I totally see where you’re coming from, don’t get me wrong, and I want to be optimistic that this will work out. Somehow. Maybe.

Classic who Secret Santa 2019

Here’s my contribution to the Classic Who secret Santa. First participation and I had a blast writing it. 

So this is for @thefirstintimeandspace who requested Barbara/Ian and a cute Christmas scene. I loved the prompt so much it got away from me, I ended up with several versions, and I could not choose. So I ran with it and I give you all the Christmases.

And the result is there: A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. 

There are nine chapters planned. First four should be posted by the end of the week-end, the next three by Christmas. Last two will probably be up for New Year’s eve.(still in the draft stage, they need some rewriting as I’m not satisfied with them)

Since I really, really like your prompt about Ace/Victoria, I started out by making some photo manips for you. Both are made completely by me, including colouring.
