fear is a leash redraw!! quickly grew to dislike the original as vex was off-model and i wanted way more emphasis on the visual imagery of biting through the chains.

i love talking abt my art inspo bc i think it's so normalised for people to think artists create from nothing, but we really don't!

here are my references for this, i THINK the art on the right was made by "forcemascpropaganda", i found it on pinterest so difficult to trace back but it really stuck with me.

i also had a very blurry memory of a different art piece in mind when i was making this, i know i got that "spreading pride flag on screen" and the colour pallete thing from SOMEWHERE i just cant remember where LOL. such is the nature of making art. this was the first piece i made of vex in my new, slightly looser, very glow-y graphic style, inspired mostly by promare and a ton of furry artists i've looked up to over the years, so it was cool to redraw it with the new knowledge i have now.
