If John is possessive about Sherlock now, Mycroft is fanatically protective. After everything that has happened to his baby brother, everything HIS baby brother willingly put himself through because of his love for an oblivious John Watson, Mycroft Holmes took it upon himself to have a very blunt conversation with the Doctor Captain impressing upon him exactly how much of a pleasant daydream Moriarty would look like if John didn't a. b. Make it up to Sherlock for all the hurt he was inadvertently caused & c. Ensure such hurts would never occur again. And if Mycroft & John have a tendency to stare each other down from across the room at family Christmas celebrations, everyone including Sherlock, are polite enough to ignore it. Headcannon: after Sherlock gets off the plane at the end of HLV, John realizes Sherlock was crying and follows him back to Baker Street and forgets to tell Mary he won't be home. They fall asleep, fully dressed, in Sherlock's bed after talking most of the night and wake up curled together. Neither admits it was the best sleep they'd had in a long time.

In the morning, they wake up next to each other, Sherlock’s eyes a bit swollen, but John is still there and currently snuggled warmly against his back, hand over his heart, breathing low and deep into the curls at the base of Sherlock’s neck.

And if only for a moment, Sherlock allows himself the quiet of the morning and the happy warmth that blooms in his chest in waking up with John Watson.

Imo: when John finally accepts that Sherlock really is the only person he needs, and Sherlock accepts he means it, John is surprised at how affectionate Sherlock is. Not big things, but little - cup of tea when he gets out of the shower, paper sections he likes next to his chair. A hand on his good shoulder or lower back. Subtly shielding John from accidental jostling. And slightly ashamed when he realises Sherlock's done most of it all along.

This is everything.

The thing about Teen Sherlock is that he wants everything when it comes to Teen John. Like he might be wary at first when they start dating but he’s far more open than he would be in later years. He isn’t terrified of needing someone. He wants to love John. He wants to be held and kissed and taken care of. He wants John to hold his hand and cuddle him constantly. He wants John to tell him he is beautiful and brilliant and perfect. He wants to be loved. He wants to be loved by John. I think that’s a rather beautiful thing.

I love the way Sherlock runs. He clenches his long fingers into tiny little fists and pumps his arms so fast. His curls fly back off his face and his features are so excited like a child’s. He almost looks smaller and more precious. 

I feel that John also notices this and loves him even more for it.

YOU GUYS!! OH MY GOSH!! SOMETHING AMAZING JUST HAPPENED!!

One of my very best friends irl just asked about fan fiction, she is a big Harry Potter fan and would like to start reading some HP fanfic. I realize for the most part my followers are Johnlockers (I’m working on her to get into it, it’s a process) but I also see some of you cuties posting up and down about Harry Potter SO I ask of you now:

PLEASE RECOMMEND SOME HARRY POTTER FAN FIC! Nothing too fancy, canon universe will do just fine for a first-timer, no crossovers please, just any good, solid stories would be PERFECT. Ah and she’s expecting smut so…. SMUTTY RECS ARE ENCOURAGED! =) I myself have never read HP fanfic so I desperately need your expert recs!
