Books that I wish there was more of. L.J. Smith I love all of L.J. Smiths books, especially the Night World series. I know that there was supposed to be at least one more book for each of the series. For me, The Forbidden Game by L.J Smith is one of the best-plotted books I have read: second only to Lauren Kate's Fallen. Jenny Thornton, the seemingly innocent protagonist of the novel, was a character I truly enjoyed. I see myself in her at times, and she always does something I least expect.
Julian, on the other hand, is the most romantic antagonist, ever :) He's so into Jenny, he'll do whatever it takes to claim her. I especially like the inscription engraved on his and Jenny's promise ring - All I refuse, and thee I choose, I eventually made it my tumblr's name. I think it's the most romantic statement ever said.
Tom Locke, Jenny's girlfriend, is also thoughtful, caring, and overall kind. But there's just something missing-an edge. I like my men with a dark side, just like Yin and Yang.
Lastly, there's ZACH. I think it's cute he also expresses interest with Jenny, and he has a passion for photography and arts. I wish there could be a separate novel, just for him.
And, that's all I have to say. I think Dee's awesome, Audrey's like me, Michael's a dumb-wit, and Summer's a pity. But whatever. I don't really care about them. Sooooo.. I recommend this book for fans of paranormal romance, even though this book is older then me.
