Finished watching The Secret Circle, and I think the reason it didn’t end up getting a 2nd season is because of how many people they killed off in the first. In reality, the show was phenomenal. Amazing writing! And good acting. The cast was pretty looking too. They have all that any high school drama needs. But they killed off too many characters for shock value, after a point it was annoying and barely any character had morals on their side. Overall, that was disappointing. They couldn’t figure out ways to get rid of characters not relevant to the circle without killing them off - super lazy writing.
